and Value. This is why we are proud to announce our newest edition - Our Signature Series Islands. While we still build Outdoor Kitchens
the traditional way, i.e., Steel Studs, Hardy Panel and stone etc, we are upping the bar with our patented UniShell Island Enclosures.
The Polymer Unibase Islands allow us to design and build architectural features into our Islands that would otherwise be cost prohibitve. There are
also a number of benifits to using polymer based units; Completely weather resistant, lighter than traditional construction methods, yet stronger,
and all Unibase Islands are finished on both the inside and outside of the Island. This makes a much cleaner and finished unit. Polymer Unibase allows
us to use traditional finishes such as stone, stucco, brick and of course various textures and colors of Polymer. All electrical wiring is completely
enclosed within the framing as well as any electronic components such as stereos, CD/DVD and iPOD and speaker components.
Our islands can be configured
for most any type of outdoor components. We offer a complete line of BULL, FireMagic, Evo, Big Green Egg and Louisiana Grills as well as various
stainless Steel Doors, Drawers, Cabinets, Side Burners, Warming Drawers and bar Units to complete our Islands.
Best of all, Backyard Outfitters is the only company that provides our customers complete outdoor kitchen design using state-of-the-art computer
design. We set down with our customers during the layout and design phase and then produce a detailed rendering of their Outdoor Kitchen, BBQ Island
or Bar complete with cost and finish. We even give our customers different backgrounds so they can actually see what the island will look like when

offer 12 standard island configurations and 10 Big Green Egg Island designs with unlimited custom designs. We can mix and match any stucco, stone,
combination and provide any type countertop including granite, tile, custom or unibase counters.
- Using an advanced computer program called the
configurator, we will sit down with you and design
your outdoor kitchen right in front of you. You can select
your components, base configuration, counter type and
finish. You can choose from stone, stucco, tile, granite
and unibase polymer. When finished, we print out the design
which includes cost and approximate time to construct. The
configurator is show at right. The pre-designed islands shown below were
all created on the configurator.
- The Concord is a classic corner island with
the side burner placed in the corner section. This
particular configuration has both a refrigerator and
a beer tap. The grill can be Bull, FireMagic or
our Louisiana built-in Pellet Grill. You could also
replace the beer tap with a 30" cocktail bar unit.
Congo Classic "L" Island
- The Congo is a traditional "L" Island with
storeage shelves on the bar wing. The umbrella gives
you plenty of shade to enjoy your meal.
- AThe Costa Mesa island has it all. Grill, side burner
refrigerator, beer tap, warming drawer, plenty of storage
and a built-in patio heater. Now you can grill all year
round!
- The Danbury is a trational "L" island with a
riased bar that runs along the entire back of
the island. You can seat several people at this
bar and never run out of room.
EZ Island (Has Great Storage)
- This is a basic island with a twist. each
side has an open storage area that can be used
for drinks, blenders, wood for the fireplace and
much more.
The Hampton is a great little island that
sports a pergola that provides shade even on the
hottest days. The back area has a bar complete
with a pedestal.
This compact island is long on deatures
and comes with a backsplash whcih is great
for placement next to your house.
This island have plenty of counter space
so that you can prep, cook and serve your party.
The Romano is a little bit larger than the Mission
Viejo so you have more counter space and yet compact
enough to place almost anywhere.
This out door kitchen comes with everything
including the sink. It has a raised back bar and
rounded side that adds a unique look and feel
to your outdoor kitchen.
This two tier island sports an ice chest on
the lower counter so that your guests can help
themselves with drinks, water or whatever your
want to put in it.
The companion is a great addition to any outdoor
kitchen or BBQ island. Place it oposing your island
so that everything is accessible or use it as your
serving wet bar. Comes complete with sink.
The Bistro is one of our latest Egg Islands. It has
a great bar or seating area complete with umbrella
hole and storage for plate setters and other BBQ
items you want handy. We have many more standard
configurations for the Big Green Egg than what is
listed here. We can also combine the BGE with any
island configuration. We have designed a number of
islands that combine both traditional grills and
a Big Green Egg.
As the name implies, it looks like something
from outer-space. But its not, just a very unique
island designed for the BGE. It's also a great
conversation piece while cooking that turkey.
We don't have a reason for the name, but it's a great
little island for the BGE. The storage shelves underneeth
work great for accessories.
The Classic series offer various heights that
you cannot see from the photos but that is the
main difference between the Classic A,B and C.
Same as the Classic A but with different height.
The Classic - C is the most popular mainly due
to the stainless steel door for storage. Remember,
we can add different styles and moduals to any island.
